Break Food
Team Members can receive complimentary soda, hot coffee, and tea during their shifts at Chick-fil-A. In addition, Team Members will receive the value of a Grilled Sandwich with Waffle Fry as an allotment towards any menu item during an approved break. Any difference in price ordered above the allotment can be purchased by the Team Member.
Care Portal
Life can be difficult and sometimes we all need a caring hand to help us through difficult times. That is why we have partnered with Sons of Encouragement (S.O.E.) to help Team Members who are struggling through a difficult season and can use some kind of support. Whether it is a tank of gas, school supplies, or even some furniture for your home, we want to help you find solutions to support you in your time of need. If you know of a Team Member that needs some assistance or need assistance yourself, please let one of your Directors know.
Cell Phone Discounts
Thanks to partnerships with Chick-fil-A and Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T, Team Members can receive various discounts on qualified voice and data plans and accessories. To sign up, simply visit your local AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon store to find out more information.
Chicken for Charity
Team Members can nominate an organization in the community in which they are involved and would like to support. Chick-fil-A Southroads will choose one charity each month and donate either 25 sandwiches or a large nugget tray on behalf of the Team Member to that organization. We ask that Team Members be available to help deliver the donation so that they can be recognized as supporting the charity which receives the donation.
"Climb" Mentorship Program
We believe that having a mentor is a valuable resource in an individual's career growth, however, we understand sometimes it can be difficult to find a mentor. At Chick-fil-A, we have created a mentorship program which partners team members with senior leaders in our business to complete a 6 session mentorship program covering topics from networking and character development to leadership and career success. Employee Referrals
We love having you as part of the team and we want people like you! Refer a friend or family member and if we hire that candidate, you will receive $50 on their hire date, $100 bonus on their 90 day anniversary, $200 on their 180 day anniversary, and $300 on their 1 year anniversary as long as both of you are still employed and in good standing. Just be sure to let us know if you referred someone that we hired!
Employer Match Retirement Plan
We know that you aren't just working for your lifestyle now, but you are trying to prepare for a future beyond retirement...and we want to help. For any team members who earn over $5000 a year in income, we offer a employer match retirement plan. We will match dollar for dollar up to 3% of an employee's paycheck towards a Northwestern Mutual Retirement Account. Simply investing $500 for one year could turn into tens of thousands of dollars by the time you retire. Financial Literacy Classes
At Chick-fil-A Midtown, we believe that being a good financial steward is important to good business and life success and allows us the freedom to be invest back into others. To help with the financial literacy of our Team Members we have several class options available to educate our team. These include a Chick-fil-A Financial Literacy program partnered with Junior Achievement, a Chick-fil-A Business Financial Literacy class taught by our Financial Director, and a Financial Peace University Course through Dave Ramsey. If you are interested in any of these classes and a journey to financial freedom, please contact our Financial Stewardship Director.
Family Life Pay
We understand that both the loss of a loved one or growth of your family with new children can be difficult and cause additional stress to Team Members and their work-life balance. In the blessing of the birth of a new child or the unfortunate loss of an immediate family member, Team Members may be eligible for paid time off to handle adjust to these life circumstances.
Health Insurance
Team Members who have worked for Chick-fil-A at Midtown Tulsa for over 1 year and have maintained full time hours (over 30 hours a week) are eligible for health insurance plans through Chick-fil-A's Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans. Team Members may receive a contribution from Chick-fil-A to help supplement the costs of insurance to make it a more affordable option to the Team Member. After 1 year of full time employment, Team Members will be notified of eligibility for health insurance and how they may sign up.
Leadership Development Stipend
One of our Employee Promises is to help our Team Members grow stronger and to do that effectively, we believe that our leaders need to always been developing in their own growth. To help encourage leadership growth, we provide an annual stipend to each leader to use towards their own personal and professional development. Team Leaders receive $50, Managers receive $100, and Directors receive $250 to help support their growth as leaders.
Library
Team members are allowed to check out a variety of leadership books from the restaurant to read for personal growth and development. These books are located in the office and can be checked out through a Director.
Loyalty Compensation Pay
We know we are not your only employment option and we are grateful to those who have decided to invest their talents and skills at Chick-fil-A Southroads for an extended period of time. Though we still believe that the fastest way to growth in our business is through following the "Roadmap for Growth," we also want to acknowledge our Team Member's loyalty through the years by providing them additional compensation of $0.20/hour for each year they have been employed at Chick-fil-A at Southroads Shopping Center. We also will use this as one opportunity to sit down with Team Members to provide more specific feedback.
Lyft to Work
We understand that sometimes there are emergencies which create transportation issues to work. We don't ever want Team Members to miss a shift because or transportation challenges. If you ever find yourself in an emergency and needing a ride to work, then just reach out to any Director in the business or leader on shift and they can schedule someone to pick you up or order you a complimentary LYFT driver to pick you up for your shift.
Paid Time Off
Team Members who have worked for Chick-fil-A at Southroads Shopping Center for over 1 year and have maintained full time hours (over 30 hours a week) are eligible for paid time off (PTO) days for each year they have been with Chick-fil-A. After 1 year of full time employment, Chick-fil-A Team Members will be notified of eligible vacation hours and how they may be redeemed.
Pay Compensation
Pay evaluations will be considered as Team Members progress through their "Roadmap to Growth." Team Members have access to all Pay Bands and can control much of their raises and growth in the business through completing their "Roadmap to Growth." Pay raises are not necessarily connected to tenure in the business and Team Members have the opportunity to advance in their pay compensation and leadership based on their engagement, ownership, and growth mindset.

As a Team Member at Chick-fil-A at Southroads Shopping Center, you are offered a complimentary subscription to Right Now Media @ Work. This resource is free of charge to you as a Team Member and provides over 5000 faith-based videos on marriage, parenting, leadership and more to businesses across the country and around the world. Serve Your Herd
One of our pillars of our vision is our "Partnership with our Community." To encourage team members to give back to our local Tulsa community, we offer the opportunity for team members to be compensated up to four hours a year at their current pay rate for volunteer service they do with any non-profit organization that serves the local Tulsa community. Organizations, volunteer work, and schedule must be first approved by leadership to be considered for reimbursement.
Scholarships
Over the years, Chick-fil-A has offered over $46 million in scholarship to over 41,400 team members across the country. Team Members can apply if they are currently enrolled or plan to be enrolled in any higher education classes for the upcoming semester. These scholarship are based on impact in the restaurant, community, and GPA. The application process usually begins in November of each year and closes in the beginning of February and are awarded for the Fall semester. Team Member Discount
Team members can receive a 50% off discount for their meals as well as their immediate family and friends when they come to dine at Chick-fil-A Southroads outside of their normal shift. The Team Member must be present for discount to be applied and can only be used once during each visit. The maximum discount will be calculated at 1.5x the current meal break allotment.
Team Member Outings
Throughout the year we host multiple Team Member Appreciation Weeks, a Christmas Party, leadership outings, dinners, and in-restaurant events to celebrate our Team Members. These events are all optional, but are always a great time for our Team to spend time together outside of work and connect on a personal level with one another.
