At Chick-fil-A at Southroads Shopping Center, we believe that our team members are our greatest assets.  We truly believe that “cared for” team members will in turn “care for” our guests.  Consequently, we promise to deliver the following experiences to each and every one of our employees.

We promise to do everything in our power to create an environment where everyone feels physically and emotionally safe each and every day and everyone is treated with honor, dignity, and respect.  From team members to guests, we promise to assume the best in others, to act with humility, and to extend grace to others in our day-to-day interactions.  We understand that conflict is a natural part of any relationship and promise to lean in and communicate while working through conflict rather than to avoid it.  We promise to show our appreciation to our team members through daily positive words of affirmation, a competitive living wage, and hosting events throughout the year that celebrate our team and their efforts.

We truly believe that our team is better when we work together to support each other and our guests. We promise to create a work atmosphere where we look for opportunities to serve others as well as be willing to receive help from others.  We believe there is no job too little for anyone to do or no role too important that excludes their efforts in supporting the daily operations of our business.   We promise to hold accountable those that who do not exemplify a team mentality through their actions and to continually bring on only those who are committed to making our team and business better.

We believe that we do more than sell chicken…we positively influence lives!  We promise to remain an organization that keeps our mission first priority and to continually build a brand that our employees can be proud to represent in their local community.  We promise to create an environment where team members can always feel confident in doing the right thing and know that our business decisions will always be made with people’s personal integrity in mind.

As our founder, Truett Cathy, always asked, “Why not your best?”  We commit to creating a culture that is focused on our best efforts and not just results. We promise to continually challenge and support individuals to reach their full potential each and every day.  We believe that unbridled comparison is the thief of joy and that our success is measured against our own potential rather than compared to others.  We believe that when we focus on excellence that we will likely see more success, but if we focus only on success that we may not do everything with excellence. 

WE ARE STRONGER

We understand that every team member is on a journey and we promise to do our best to help individuals achieve their goals and aspirations.  We promise to provide opportunities for our team members to continually develop skills both valuable within Chick-fil-A and beyond Chick-fil-A. We promise that those with a desire and commitment to develop will be met with resources to further their development and to grow stronger in their skillset. Our desire is that people leave Chick-fil-A stronger than when they first arrived.
