TAKE ACTION

Being proud of your work starts with yourself.  No organization is perfect and we can always find negatives in any organization which cause us to become disengaged or dissatisfied with our workplace. Likewise, if you are committed to staying engaged in the workplace, you will quickly find multiple ways in which you can be proud of the organization in which you serve.  See if over the next month you can begin to challenge yourself and your team to take more pride in your work at Chick-fil-A.

  • SELF - Find a few people in the business who you believe are proud to work at Chick-fil-A.  Ask them what makes them proud of Chick-fil-A, their team, and their own personal development at Chick-fil-A.  Does that change your perspective in any way or reaffirm some thoughts you already had?

  • TEAM - Take time during each shift to tell team members how proud you are of them individually, as a team, and as a business.  Be specific and share how you see them developing, or what goals they've accomplished, or how their work as a whole is impacting the business and their local Tulsa community.
