Join David (Owner/Operator) and Michael (Sr. Director of Talent) as they share a new system exclusively for Chick-fil-A Southroads employees to navigate their growth and development at Chick-fil-A. We are not only providing an updated Roadmap for Growth, but also creating a structured pay scale which will help team members know where they stand in the business and how they can both grow in responsibility and compensation. See below for some FAQ's and watch the video for more details!
Why are we creating a new Talent Management Pay Structure?
As part of our continual focus on delivering a work environment where employees can “Grow Stronger,” we are introducing a new tool that we hope will provide more transparency and guidance on how to grow at Chick-fil-A Southroads Shopping Center and what compensation can be expected with your growth. In anticipation of our August 14th price increase, we are investing a significant portion of that increase back into our employees. Each employee will now fall under a “Pay Band” and a “Title” in the business considering their experience, performance, and accomplishment of tasks on the “Roadmap to Growth.” These will then be used to determine an employee’s minimal pay wage as well as what advancing within “Title” or changing “Pay Bands” can yield in additional compensation.
When does this new Talent Management Pay Structure go into place? This new pay structure is effective starting our July 30th pay cycle. Employees who will have a positive adjustment in pay will be contacted between the weeks of July 23rd to August 4th.
What if I make more than my current pay band and title?
Pay wage will not be adjusted down. If you make more than your current pay band and title, then you will stay at that current pay. However, to earn additional compensation, an employee will need to reach the associated pay band or title of the compensation they desire to receive.
What qualifies as full time?
Full Time (FT) hours requires an average of 30 hours or more per week over the course of an entire business year.
Why do certain pay bands pay more than others?
As a business we have placed varying values based on availability and position within the business. Maintaining full time hours, working in more physically strenuous roles, open availability, and having a high school degree can all provide opportunities to be in pay bands that have a more premium pay.
What if I want to switch pay bands or advance in title within the business?
Visit our website at team.cfasouthroads.com and look under the “My Development” tab. There will be a link for “Roadmap to Growth” which will guide team members along their development journey at Chick-fil-A as well as a link for “Pay Band” where team members can apply for a different pay band.
Who do I reach out to if I have any additional questions?
If you have additional questions, please speak with a Director in the business.
